
Sarah Yaw’s first novel YOU ARE FREE TO GO won the CNY Book Award and the Engine Books Novel Prize. Her essays and short fiction have appeared in various outlets including Bust.com, Word Riot, Bookish, and Salt Hill; Sarah recently served as the fiction editor for Stone Canoe. She has an MFA in fiction from Sarah Lawrence College, and lives in Auburn, New York, where she balances motherhood, writing, and her gig as a professor and administrator at Cayuga Community College.
Congrats! Bummed I just missed your Thurs reading. I’m in Syr now but mostly live in Miami, a short walk to Books and Books, world’s greatest bookstore. You should read there, and/or at a November Miami Book Fair. Miami’s a great writing town. I’m in a John Dufresne’s Friday Night Writers and several poetry groups
